I agree that collaboration along the high-latency communication channel is much slower, and for most people, much harder.  There are things you can do, like &lt;a href=&quot;http://tynerblain.com/blog/2006/12/06/idea-seeding/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;idea seeding&lt;/a&gt; and daily stand-ups that avoid or at least minimize the penalties.

I&#039;d classify as very different, and harder, but not impossible.</description>
